BusinessCode Offers Workspace During Nordbrücke Closure

Bonn, 27 August 2026. The closure of Bonn’s Nordbrücke is presenting considerable challenges for companies and employees in the region. For employees who regularly commute between the two sides of the Rhine, daily travel times can increase significantly. BusinessCode is therefore offering companies in Bonn and the Rhein-Sieg district the use of individual office workspaces at its company location when needed.
The offer is aimed particularly at companies that want to give individual employees a temporary workplace on the more convenient side of the Rhine. BusinessCode is located at Am Hof 28, directly opposite the university and right in the centre of Bonn. Bus and train stops are close by, and Bonn’s main railway station is just a few minutes away. The offices are therefore very well connected to public transport. Fully equipped workspaces, including the necessary secure communication infrastructure, are available on site. Employees can therefore work temporarily at BusinessCode and reduce the additional strain caused by longer journeys and traffic jams during the Nordbrücke closure.
“We cannot solve the traffic problems around the Nordbrücke. But we can look at where, as a company, we can provide concrete support,” says Martin Schulze, Managing Director of BusinessCode GmbH. “If existing workplaces can help shorten journeys and relieve companies and their employees, we should make use of this opportunity.”
BusinessCode has been based in Bonn for more than 25 years and is closely connected to the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg business location. For Schulze, it is part of the company’s entrepreneurial self-image to engage beyond the company itself for the region and, especially in the face of concrete challenges, to look for pragmatic solutions.
“A strong economic region also thrives on companies talking to each other and supporting one another. Not every solution has to be big. Sometimes existing resources already help if you share them in an uncomplicated way,” Schulze emphasises.
Schulze also wants to bring this understanding of corporate responsibility and regional cooperation to the work of the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He is currently standing for election to the Full Assembly in electoral group 6 Information and Telecommunications. In doing so, he particularly wants to bring in the experience and requirements of medium-sized companies and campaign for good framework conditions at the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg business location.
Companies that need a workplace for individual employees during the closure can contact BusinessCode directly. Availability, duration of use and other framework conditions will be agreed individually and without complication.
