Based on these parameters, the carrier with the fastest transit time is usually selected. This required an innovative standard application for global use.

Managing this information at individual postal-code level is one of the key tasks in a global network with more than a thousand users. It affects numerous management and functional areas such as marketing, sales, and operations. The system supports data management and the core workflow (approval process, four-eyes principle, data validation against actual transit times). The integrated functions are highly complex and implemented in the client-side web application, enabling users to work as if it were a standalone application. The data can be visualized on maps and edited there as well, making it easier to identify correlations, deviations, and trends than in a data table.

With the successful rollout of the application, several legacy systems and local governance processes were replaced.
