BusinessCode Partners with German Museum Bonn to Promote STEM Education
Bonn, July 11, 2019 - Through its membership in the WISSENschaf(f)t SPASS support association, the Bonn-based IT service provider has laid the foundation to introduce students to applied IT during their school years while simultaneously drawing attention to the Bonn museum.
“Beyond mere membership in the WISSENschaf(f)t SPASS support association, we want to bring application-oriented IT topics into schools. For this, we’re relying on the comprehensive offerings of the German Museum Bonn, to which we’ve drawn closer through our membership,” begins Martin Schulze, Managing Director of BusinessCode GmbH, a Bonn-based IT service provider whose IT solutions are used by renowned clients worldwide and for whom the preservation of the German Museum Bonn is important.
Inspiring the Next Generation of IT Professionals
“Our goal is to inspire young people early on for careers in IT. And IT doesn’t just mean gaming or programming web pages, but developing business solutions,” explains Schulze, who does this daily with his team of about 20 colleagues from Bonn. From experience, the BusinessCode team knows how important it is to gain early exposure to the broad spectrum of applied IT to recognize how diverse a career in this field can be and to set the right course.
Customized Software Solutions with a Human Touch
BusinessCode develops and distributes complex software solutions for various industries, each tailored to customer requirements. To achieve this, employees must be able to put themselves in the customer’s shoes, requiring knowledge that extends far beyond IT. “And this is exactly what we want to communicate to students through our commitment,” explains Schulze. BusinessCode plans to invite students from grade 8 to the German Museum Bonn to build and program robots.
Commitment to Digital Transformation and Education
BusinessCode plans to engage even more extensively beyond its membership in the support association and workshop offerings, actively accompanying the German Museum Bonn on its path to digitalization. “The German Museum Bonn must be preserved; here we can provide interesting impulses through our knowledge and experience,” Schulze is certain.
