Stefan Bernemann: Meine Karriere bei BusinessCode

My name is Stefan Bernemann, and since March of this year, I have been working as a Senior Developer at BusinessCode.

Martin Bernemann and I have known each other for a long time, and during several conversations, the idea developed whether I could contribute my experience to BusinessCode during my early retirement period. Now this idea has been put into practice.

After many years of working in a large industrial company, I was attracted by the opportunity to work in a medium-sized, much more dynamic IT company.

I have been with the company for just over six months, so I am still learning a lot about the products and the customer environment.

I work almost exclusively remotely, and I can largely organize my working hours independently. Once or twice a month, I travel to Bonn to our office at the university.

What I particularly enjoy is collaborating with the other colleagues in the team, solving technically challenging problems, and implementing these solutions to further develop the products.

Currently, I am working on the development of our proprietary software in the logistics sector.

Key factors for successfully starting at BusinessCode are teamwork, solution-oriented work, and a strong willingness to learn.

Personally, I hope to still be able to contribute to the company in five years. Especially because BusinessCode is currently establishing itself in terms of cloud-based solutions and SaaS offerings, and I want to continue supporting this development.
